Evandro Carlos Jardim (Brazil, 1935) is an engraver, draftsman, and painter. He began his studies at the São Paulo School of Fine Arts in 1953, where he studied painting with Theodoro Braga, Antonio Paim Vieira, and Joaquim da Rocha Ferreira, as well as modeling and sculpture with Vicente Larocca. Between 1956 and 1957, he studied metal engraving with Francesc Domingo Segura, specializing in the etching technique. In addition to his artistic career, Jardim has been actively teaching at various institutions, including the School of Fine Arts, the Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation (Faap), and the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo (ECA/USP). During the military regime, he organized auctions of his works to assist the families of political prisoners and collaborated with the political amnesty movement.
